Revolving Sushi Factory

Caution:I got food poisoning last week after eating sushi and ramen here. I vomited all weekend. Sushi wasn't fresh, and ramen smelled like it was past its expiration date.

We visit this place on the regular basis, more or less. I was surprised to see tips added to the bill, about 18% without options. I understand that they probably struggle with it because they use those cute waiters robot servers and public thinking that they don’t have to tip a robot. I always tipped, but now expect it to be added to your ticket

I went to this place some time ago and here is the summary of my experience there: 1 Ambiance 4/5: I like the decor of the place and the seating was great. I felt like i was truly in a Japanese restaurant 2. Service 3/5: Most of the food is served by the robot pepper and the sushi comes in a small train like service which you can select from an Ipad but I remember asking for hot water and it took them a lot of time to serve it. Also, even though the service is automated things took time to come. 3) Food 3.5/5: Although I dont remember the names of the sushi, there was a large variety but I didnt really like the overall taste of them 4) Value for Money 3/5: Although it seems cheap since they come if in 3's the prices quickly add up as they are small and you will order more. Overall, you can try it for the experience of a robot restaurant but I will not recommend it for the taste and cost.

I'd say I'm extremely surprised that I have yet to write a review about this place, since it's become a weekly staple for me and my friends, but it's probably because I'm so distracted eating great sushi that every time, leaving a review leaves my mind! What a delight this place is. Discovered it a few months back on a whim as a last minute decision, and we have repeatedly gone back since. The design is just so efficient and smart, yet the quality of food remains superb! It is so nice being able to quickly sit down and eat, and the revolving conveyer belts is a great way to sample all types of sushi! Also absolutely love that you can order directly off the tablet--super efficient! Not to mention, the prices are amazing. I wish I could name everything I like here, but I'd definitely have to highlight the Salmon (sashimi, nigiri, Crazy Salmon Roll, Salmon Box, you name it!) and the Beef Udon Soup. I'm a sucker for raw salmon, and this restaurant has it super fresh! The udon soup is a hidden gem--amazingly savory and warm!

Very cool concept. Fun and innovative. Service was also very good. The only thing I found lacking was the actual food. Focus on food quality now that you've wowed people with the incredible delivery system.
