The food was great and service so friendly. I recommend checking out the roof top bar!
We ate here with friends last week. We ordered the crayfish hush puppies, but they were out of them. We got the artisan bread instead. It was very ordinary and small especially for $5. It took an hour and a half before we got our entrees. I had the truffle Campanella pasta and my husband had the same thing with a salmon add on. It was very ordinary. My friends had the Southern fried chicken which was nothing like fried chicken. My son’s steak was pretty good and the wine was good. I wouldn’t eat here again.
The service was extremely helpful and friendly. The steak and fries is delicious. I also recommend the cornbread skillet appetizer.
Although it is pricey, it is totally amazing!!
I was excited to try Revivalist, as we are always looking for great new places to dine in Huntsville. Unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. The menu items sound good, but the actual food had very little flavor. We had the spinach salad, mushroom pasta with salmon, Brussels sprouts, stuffed cabbage, and grits. Everything except the Brussels sprouts was bland. The entrees and grits were not salted at all. So while the recipes had some interesting ingredients, it fell flat. Even my cocktail was disappointing. So we walked out paying $160 for flavorless food. It was sad.
A great breakfast/lunch option right in the heart of downtown! Superb service, fantastic food, and an alluring ambience. Tucked inside Huntsvilles newest luxury hotel 106 Jefferson makes you feel welcome and at home. Definitely recommend!
We made reservations for a 6:30 table, and sat in the back room. Ambiance and decor in this place is on point. Our waiter Trent was knowledgeable of both the food and cocktail menus. Service was 5 Stars The shrimp cocktail app was great. The halibut special was fantastic. The duck/sausage stew was okay, too much cornbread and not enough stew. Would recommend making the bread topper thinner and put more stew in the bowl. Cocktails were fantastic, even a concocted Mezcal drink from the bartender. I ordered the creme brûlée and my wife the s’mores.. Both deserts were fantastic. The only other downside were the drink prices. Compared to their HSV/Madison peers, they are a little on the high side. Overall a great experience, and we will be back!
Great staff! Great atmosphere! And the food was superb too!
3/5 is generous for our experience. Dined here for a Valentine's Day special. We were not impressed, had several issues with our meal. The drinks were good, but the food was not special. Sub-par quality, and smaller than normal positions for similar restaurants. The Caesar dressing in the Cesar salad was much stronger on the Anchovies than what I would have liked. We chose the "5 course" option, and one of the courses was a teaspoon of sorbet. I called ahead when booking the reservation to ask what the menu items would be for the Valentine's Day special, and the person that answered the phone would not tell me. He directed me to "go on the website and read it for yourself." I looked past the snarky attitude, and booked the reservation anyways. We had the utmost high hopes which likely made us more disappointed when the food wasn't very good. The best item was the beet & ginger soup.
