Good coffee drinks. Food is a touch too precious. Nice atmosphere and I like their auxiliary seating in their back shed.

Swung by this morning on my way to work and grabbed the usual Salt n Pepa and a Chai Latte. Everything was great as always and the staff were super nice and accomodating.

The staff here are always so kind. They’re always willing to help answer any questions about the menu or give recommendations. The manager Jaime is always pleasant and genuinely engages with customers (and she’s often on the floor helping her team which is nice to see!). Not to mention the food and drink are delicious (the salt n peppa is a must try) Dietary restrictions: Lots of GF options!

Great food. Great beverages. Just no space to stand. Felt very claustrophobic. But if you can order then wait outside, it's great! But seriously the biscuit sando with spicy goat cheese is *chef's kiss*.

Wow, I’m no longer coming here after that review about the expired food and terrible customer service. I would have expected any business to extend an olive branch, especially under those circumstances with such a major oversight, but sounds like that customer got unnecessary attitude directly from this business and no accountability. I would have escalated it as well. I will help them spread the word about the terrible customer service from Jaime, which looking back, I have also experienced in store. She was condescending and unhelpful when I asked about vegetarian options.

My boyfriend and I stopped at the Somerville Revival location before heading to work this morning, and staff were friendly and great as usual! I didn't catch the name of the cashier, but she had short hair and the cutest sweater with frog and toad on it, and she lit up when I complimented it. She was very pleasant and kind and patient when we took forever to figure out what we wanted (went with old reliable, the salt n pepa, which never disappoints). She even hopped into the kitchen to help prepare the food and I have to say— chef's kiss! What a dedicated worker. We had the best morning, and I just had to say something. Though I must say I was very taken aback when I hopped online to write this review, there are some really nasty things being said by other customers. It looks like there was a mishap with expired product— as food industry workers ourselves, this is a pretty grave error and it does concern me that this could've happened to us. However, Christina G who wrote the original review strikes me as a remarkably unwell person who is targeting and harassing a poor minimum wage worker over something out of her control. In fact, all her reviews are very unhinged. Xun Z is clearly an alt account she is using to further target Jaime, you can tell because the reviews on both accounts are identical. Who the hell does that? I don't care if this coffee shop broke the Geneva Conventions, there is no good reason to be this vindictive towards a person. I don't know any of these people but from an outside perspective this is nothing short of ridiculous. I hope nobody takes Christina seriously and I only pray she never walks into my establishment to give me a hard time and make me or my coworkers the target of her hate campaign. All that said, I have never had anything but the most amazing time with the Revival crew. I hope Jaime has a wonderful day and Christina G finds peace and love in 2024. Can't wait for more salt n pepa's and peppermint lattes! Thank you Revival :)

Revival selling expired food and I also experienced deplorable and unacceptable customer service from Jaime (or Jamie) at Davis location. The food came unfresh and expired. No one cared to check the overnight oats and the entire batch was expired and sold at all Revival locations. These were only pulled when I called to ask why the overnight oats tasted so sour, tart, carbonated, and rotten. I initially spoke to a wonderful person named Cameron, who was incredibly kind, apologetic, and genuine. He even said he and others tasted the overnight oats to confirm they were in fact expired. Cameron was the total opposite of Jaime, who made it sound like the customer's problem. When I asked Jaime for a replacement or a gift card for this experience directly from the store, as a show of accountability and customer loyalty, Jaime basically said absolutely not. She sounded extremely resistant to to make anything right and when I told her I will be posting a review about this and contacting the health board, she sarcastically said "PLEASE do!" So, that's what I'm doing. I'm hopeful that every employee will learn from Cameron, who I hope becomes a manager. The way he listened and responded to the situation was extremely professional and did not exacerbate the problem, like Jaime chose to do. And it's really about principle. If Jaime had offered, say a $5 gift card, or said "the next one's on us" or something to that effect, or even attempted an apology, then I would have not have felt inclined to post this review and to get the health board involved. But again, she urged me to post this review and to escalate the situation with the health board. Please use caution when dealing with Jaime, if she is still at Revival. But hopefully you come across other professional and much more qualified staff members, especially Cameron, who was such a sweetheart. Learn from him. To “Morgan” — you have way too much time on your hands with inaccurate info to boot. You are definitely projecting, as you are the one who is “remarkably unwell” to be so defensive to straight facts. You must also have issues with customers, so I also hope you will learn from wonderful Cameron :) To Melissa's misinformed response: First, the DoorDash refund was initiated by me and me only -- not Jaime. She called them for no reason after I told her I already requested and received the refund. DoorDash had the common sense to not only issue me the full refund, but much more, since this was a safety and quality issue. The expired food did affect other locations, as Jaime said products were also pulled from other locations' shelves. The theme of my review is not just about Revival selling expired food, but the disgusting attitude from Jaime. You also did not acknowledge my praises for Cameron. In dealing with the same situation, Cameron and Jaime were complete opposites. Jaime was rude, condescending, and took zero accountability. Terrible customer service skills. I would not have escalated anything if Jaime had been professional, or even apologized. I am actively escalating this situation and you have Jaime to thank for that.
