Restaurant Queen Sheba

Food was decent but not as good as the East Africa Ethiopian restaurant on Sherbooke. What stood out at Queen Sheba was 1) a well trained staff and 2) good seating arrangements. But the cook was not as good. Injera was served cold.

As I stepped into Queen Sheba, I was immediately engulfed in the rich aromas of Ethiopian spices and the warmth of its vibrant ambiance. Each corner of the restaurant spoke of tradition and culture, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary experience. The menu, a masterpiece of Ethiopian cuisine, offered an array of tantalizing dishes! But what truly made this dining experience exceptional was the owner's passionate dedication to their craft. Deeply rooted in his culture, with a deep knowledge of Ethiopian cuisine, he guided us through the menu with enthusiasm and insight, stopping to chat with us and sharing stories. His accommodating nature ensured that every dish was tailored to our preferences, making me feel truly welcomed and valued as a guest. In every bite, I could taste the love and expertise that went into creating each dish. It was more than just a meal; it was a journey through culture and tradition, leaving me with a heart full of warmth and a newfound appreciation for Ethiopian cuisine. Absolutely loved coming here with my family, can’t wait to come back!

Amazing food. We came here a couple of times with friends and it’s truly a place t which once you try you’ll definitely be coming back. They’re good is exceptional and the staff and cook are very very welcoming. We tried server all dishes so far and will definitely come back to try out the others. This place isn’t crowded so it’s a great place for an intimidate date as well. Vegetarian options: There’s an actual vegetarian section in the menu Parking: It’s paid street parking so it’s all about your luck

Best Ethiopian food in the city! Better than Blue Nile in my opinion, and cheaper too. Queen Sheba for the win!

Le meilleur restaurant éthiopien du Qc. Cuisine familiale et chaleureux. Je le recommande plus tôt deux fois qu'une ! Expérience à vivre. L. Kid-friendliness: Plats épicés, mais il en existe pour les moins épicés. Sans épices, le plat est un peu fade. Donc, ils s'adaptent au palais des gens et donc enfants
