Restaurant Jano

Good food. Have been going here for 15 years. Consistently good food. Predictable and quickly becomes a favourite. Their house hot sauce is very good. The portions are good and the decor is very cozy.

Big fan of Portugal, we've tested yesterday this restaurant that was well noted. Honestly, even though I like Portuguese food, the chicken was awfully dry, the fries were there to fill your stomach than anything and the wine was flat

We popped into Restaurant Jano after we spied the board out front advertising chicken quarters. We were happy to see many other delicious entrees on the menu. I ordered what turned out to be perhaps the most delicious lamb chops I've had in my life (one of my favorites whenever I have the choice). The host was welcoming and made us feel relaxed right away. The bill was surprisingly small for such good food. I could not feel any better about this place. 6 out of 5 stars.

Ca me désole de faire cette avis.je viens chez vous depuis min 15 ans et j'avait même eu des rabais VIP pendant la pandémie tellement que je vient souvent chez vous. Mais cela fait 2x que Jai un service MERDIOCRE par votre employer au nom de MIGUEL. Colérique, désagréable impatient, il m'obstine que ce que je vient cherchez n'existe pas quand cela fait une 10 ene de fois que jen achète pour finalement le trouver mais me fait sentir que ca ne fait pas son affaire, il bardasses et chiale a son serveur. Le janos est mon restaurant préférer depuis plus de 15 ans mais a chaque fois que je suis servit par cette homme, mon expérience est désagréable et je n'est jamais eu de problème avec les propriétaires. Cette personne n'est pas fait pour le service a la clientèle. merci

Warmly decorated portuguese restaurant. It didn't look very busy on Friday night, service was quick. We got garlic shrimp appetizer and it was good, the grilled calamari didn't taste much, the rib steak although big was however bland and tasted like not marinated at all. Maybe that's how portuguese steak is supposed to be but we didn't like it at all, even with the spicy sauce. Overall it seems a bit overpriced.

Pretty great meal, but the chicken was a little dry. The abundant amount of Piri Piri sauce made up for it.

I picked up one whole chicken to go, most of the chicken is burnt, charcoal burnt, whatever meat left is rubbery and tasteless. Very disappointing experience, the one chicken cost me 30$ with tip. Too bad, they lost me.
