Delicious! Unassuming and unpretentious, just good home-style cooking. This is a lovely place in Pinellas Park that served us a generous platter of Venezuelan specialties and a ginormous bowl of good soup. And I loved the traditional sugar cane juice with lemon beverage - great refresher! The decor features icons of the country, a nice touch that gives newcomers to the cuisine like me a feel for the heritage. Looking forward to a return visit next time I'm in the area to shop at The Book Rescuers practically right across the street. Perfect for a day of browsing the shelves and then reinvigorating after loading all the books in the car! Vegetarian options: Check selections with the server or kitchen before ordering to make sure animal fats were not used in cooking, but otherwise there are cheese filled items and also eggs on the menu.
Took over an hour to receive lukewarm beans and ice cold rice.
Excelente servicio y la comida muy buena
Food was hand made authentic deliciousness, the host was very nice and the place was clean. The cook was an older Venezuelan lady. You can’t get more authentic than this. Truly very good
Muy ricas las empanadas. Grandes y con buena cantidad de relleno. Recomendadas 100%
We had to wait 1 hour for the food. The cachapa is no good and old food are cold
I don't know about the other dishes but the empanadas, the tequeños, the sauces and the cachapas represent the lowest quality of Venezuelan food... it had to be said and it was said.
