I'm not one to write scathing reviews. That being said I specifically want to reiterate how our night (party of 10) went at Reserve cut. The Atmosphere was beautiful. It was quite loud and there were many people but the decor was aesthetic. The food was very average. The steak was above average. The problem arose when one of our party received a medium done steak when he had ordered a medium rear. Being that the steak costed $146 he spoke up. When the waiter was called to rectify the situation, he denied a costumer by aggravatingly repeating that the steak was medium rear and that we were wrong. The manager was called. The manager did not act classy either. Until someone stood up and compared the medium done steak to a medium rear one they did not stop arguing. That in itself is not worth a trip down here. A costumer does not need to leave a review on a restaurant to tell a waiter and manager how to appropriately act. Unfortunately this restaurant felt like a factory. Drinks and food were thrown on the table in an uncaring fashion. People love Reserve Cut for its name and I'm guessing that is why they stopped trying hard in the food area. If you want a luxury experience with incredibly flavored food Tabernacle and Barnea Bistro are the top two places in NYC.
Food is top notch. Really you can't miss on the menu. Pulled beef tacos is the best appetizer and a must. Sushi is excellent . Each of the steaks are excellent.
