Amazing service and always a great time! Absolutely love the bartenders.. they always make the experience great and provide a good time! AJ and Rob (who frequently bartend at the outside bar) are always overly enthusiastic and friendly. Could not say anything nicer about Republic and frankly all of their other owned establishments!

TJ was unbelievably friendly and hospitable!! Went with another couple on St. Patrick’s Day and he still took the time to chat and make us all feel welcome and not just like fans! Took excellent care of us all day with such a great attitude. Thank you, TJ!!! Second time back at Republic, will be back many more times in the future!

My friend and I decided to check out Republic during a recent trip to Charleston because we’re fans of the show Southern Hospitality. Even though we came because of the show we had an absolute blast! The Sunday that we went there was a band that was killing it-so I honestly would’ve stopped by even if it wasn’t on my list-but the overall vibe of the patio was great. We ended up having TJ, one of our faves from the show, as our bartender and he was an absolute gem! Super approachable, his version of a spicy margarita was amazing, and when some of the other patrons were getting too flirty, he made sure we were ok. Honestly, getting to know TJ made me an even bigger stan. The overall warmth I felt from him, the other Republic team members, the band, and other patrons made it a must stop on my next trip to Charleston.

Paid for VIP. They gave me and my 7 colleagues and husband one bottle which is what I paid. Random people kept coming into vip where we were and drinking our drinks. At one point, my husband decided to walk outside to smoke. They would not let him back in and when I went out to try to tell the bouncer he was with us, he told me to “follow him” and proceeded to kick us out because we did not have proof we were vip. He then told us, when the police were around, that he kick me out bc I was too drunk (I was angry at this point since I just paid over $500 at this establishment for VIP). This place will rip you off. Don’t get VIP! The bouncers are horrible and on power trips
