Renee's Tucson

I made a reservation to eat at Renee's. It was for 8:15, we arrived and received a message that our table was ready. This was at 8:28. I checked in by responding to the text message and they responded with "great see you soon." When I arrived our server greeted us told us the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes and that we needed to make our appetizer, beverage, and drink orders within that time frame. I don't understand how at 8:28 I went from my tables ready to at 8:32 having 5 minutes to order. We ultimately decided not to eat there because of the rushed energy the server was giving us. If the kitchen was that close to closing they shouldn't have confirmed our reservation by text and our table should have been ready before 8:28 if the kitchen was closing at 8:35. I would have loved a chance to try the place but the service was so off putting we went to Postino instead.

Awesome salad and meatballs. All gluten free and fabulous.

Literally the only thing on the menu I enjoyed was the lasagna. This is more of a pizza place with some side food options, over two pages was for the pizzas. The bread for the table is extra $ too.

The best fettuccini Alfredo I’ve ever had. The staff was pleasant. We didn’t realize reservations were recommended and just stopped on a whim but they were able to seat us. The food was delicious!

Mediocre at best. The server brought us the wrong beer. We ordered lasagna and although it arrived in a piping hot ramekin it was still cold in the center (obviously yesterday's leftovers with fresh sauce on top and reheated). The focaccia was chewy and not light. The Caesar salad was very good.

Ok I absolutely LOVED the food and vibes here! The murals on the wall were so cool too. It’s a very small restaurant so I highly recommend getting a reservation. The service was great and food was made fresh and was very yummy. I got the Oh Honey Board as appetizer and the Chiles & Cream Pizza. Both were delicious! I’d also recommend the lemonade with the prickly pear syrup definitely a place I’d love to go back to!

Four of us had lunch there last Friday(3/15). The food was very good, and the service was outstanding. I highly reccomend Denee's to everyone.

Good, but not Great. Somewhat bland lacking depth of flavor pastas. Wine list is pedestrian. The pizzas look amazing. May try those next time. Better options available for the $100 price for 2.
