Cool shop catered towards specialty gift baskets along with a nice brunch restaurant. Love the atmosphere and style inside, theme and color is really cool. Overall it’s a good restaurant depending on what you order. The main reason this lost a star for me is the quality of food compared to the price. If the restaurant food was cheaper by about 2-3$, it’s be 5 stars and meet expectations of what you’re buying. All of their arrangements are quite expensive but very cool. Biscuit bowl - creamy, delicious. Super good. Favorite dish Egg omelette - it’s okay, didn’t stand out in any way. For the price, it’s overpriced. Avocado was not fresh on top, nit picky but for 15$ it’d be nice for the produce to be fresh. Didn’t feel like the mushrooms and add-ins were not cooked/mixed with the egg, but folded inside of an egg patty that was microwaved. Fries were basic fries. Labeled as truffle but they have a little bit of seasoning on them and that’s it - a little disappointing. The pancakes were also a little bit dry for buttermilk pancakes. The crispy potatoes were absolutely amazing, good crunch and seasoning, cubed nicely Id say stick to the biscuits and crispy potatoes sides. Even then without the gravy, the biscuit bowl was a little dry around the edges. Service and workers were really nice - great staff. Coffee was mid. Definitely not to be considered a speciality coffee shop, but they serve espresso drinks and drip coffee so at least it’s offered. I love the bar seats at the coffee bar though. Overall I wouldn’t describe it as “fine foods”, - but maybe my expectations were higher than what was experienced in terms of price to quality ratio.

Could’ve given a 4 or 5, but the place seems really understaffed. Good food, service, and atmosphere. The only downside is the wait and lack of helping hands. I wonder what management is doing?

Stopped in after the farmers market. Extremely overpriced for what you get. Grits were not hot and almost solid consistency, all of the food reminded me of cafeteria food at gourmet prices. Also think the grits and eggs had too much salt. My plate looked like it sat in the window for a while before being brought out, but they weren’t busy. Not sure if it’s worth another shot, but we might try one more time.

I'm a frequent visitor to Reid's Fine Foods(Greenville, SC) location. I work very close by. Not only do I frequent them for my personal food consumption, I also purchase their wonderful food items/pastries when we are celebrating special occasions for the guests where I work. The service is superb, the food is great consistently. However one employee stands out. Nieaka is just a delight!! She is my go to person. She always knows exactly what I'm looking for. She's the ultimate professional and an exceptional representative of Reid's. Thank you for everything. Sharon Nesbitt

Cute little place but service and food were awful. The smell of my wife’s spinach salad was very off putting. The happy hour was BOGO draft beer. Went to order and was told they were completely out of draft beer even as I watched them hook up new kegs. Settled for can beer and was $8 a can… spend the extra $5 and go somewhere else.

While downtown this morning, Tupelo had their 1-1.5hr wait so we decided to try Reid's. The cashier was very nice while ringing us up but that's where the positives end. We received our food: I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with bacon - it came with lettuce and tomato on it, the bacon was cold and so over cooked it was crumbling, the chicken was dried out and incredibly thin. My husband ordered the Brunch burger medium, with bacon, no hash browns on it and grits. The grits were cold, not warm but cold, cold to where the cheddar cheese was cold on top. The brunch burger was well down, not medium, it came with hash browns on top (even though it requested to not receive them), and the bacon was burnt and overcooked. That was $50 for Brunch. The environment is nicely setup but the food in our first experience here was nowhere near worth it.

Reid’s is a simply remarkable establishment. Somehow, it manages to be even worse than Caviar and Bananas. The food is grossly overpriced, and hilariously under-portioned. If you want to leave with and empty wallet and an empty stomach, Reid’s is the place to go in Greenville. See: $13 Caesar wrap below.
