Reelfish Fish & Chips

Been here a few times since it is in our neighborhood. Last time was during Covid and our food was a little overcooked and not great...not surprising since they were understaffed and trying hard to make everyone's orders. This place was packed on a Friday evening at 6:30p but we were able to find a table. We got the Whole School meal, the Salmon basket and the Cajun Swai Po' Boy. The baskets were delicious and not top greasy. The Po'Boy was boring and really had no flavor at all. The hush puppies too were disappointingly dry and boring tho the hot honey was tasty. The fries were great and I polished off the whole basket and my stomach paid for it later (but worth it once in a while). Decent place for fish and chips with friendly staff and pretty quick service.

Yall had me at Gluten Free. I had the Alaskan Cod with sweet potato fries. I got my order to go, but the staff was friendly and my food was handed to me. My only suggestion... expand. I live in Parker, but the food was totally worth a 2 hour round trip. I will be road-tripping on my Harley again.

It’s a basic place, but the gluten-free fried fish and chips are excellent! Let me put that another way. The fish and chips are excellent! And they are gluten-free! Dietary restrictions: Gluten- and dairy-free.

If you want Fish and Chips in Lafayette, this is the place. Cod and Walleye were very good, Clams were not very good. Counter service and very simple decor. We'll go back but need to save some money first. Three of us spent $90.00 pretty easily.

$58 for two for lunch. I expect more for that much money, but I suppose everything is expensive these days. The seafood was good and made to order which it should be, but the fries are from a frozen bag and the slaw was dry and tasteless. Hand cut fresh fries would set this place apart, but $25 for 6 shrimp and frozen fries, bland cabbage with counter service is a bit much! The interior is boring and trying to be quirky but it’s just odd. There was a filthy rag and gross sanitation bucket by the drinks which is not appetizing. The expectation to tip 20% for counter service is unacceptable. Employees munching on fries behind the register is also not a good look.

Finally a good spot to get some seafood around here! Everything tastes great here. I'm from the Gulf Coast and appreciate this place a lot when the seafood cravings kick in

This place has the best fish and chips according to the wheat eaters in my life. The fish is always fresh, the sauce options are delicious and the chips are good too.
