This place was an unexpected surprise. I was looking for a sushi place, Google highlighted it a particular review that it was one of the best places, so I decided to try it. After parking on Newbury, my partner and I passed by it and then had to turn back. It is tucked on the lower level with a small open sign. As we decended to it noticed that it looked packed. This is where I realized that it wasn't your typical Japanese food. Redwhite "boneless" ramen is a play on words that it's vegan. at this establishment you order your food at the counter, take a seat and when your order is ready your buzzer goes off. Before ordering the lady told us that their all their menu is vegan. Although I was looking forward to sushi we decided to try it. We ordered two ramen dishes. I didn't know how to order since usually you have to pick the different sauces and ingredients. Here you pick the sauce since the ramen bowl they are all the same. And chose one vegan sushi to try. The food was delicious and we forgot that it was vegan. It was full of flavor and texture. Presentation was excellent. We ate and couldn't finish our ramen bowls because of the portion size. It was an interesting and enjoyable experience and I recommend it for people looking for a vegan restaurant. I am on the fence on including it in sushi listings as it could make people looking for sushi feel unsatisfied with the experience. Putting that aside for us, it was a nice experience.

It’s far from ramen, and really not good. Bland, fatty, and absolutely no umami/flavor depth. They ask you if you want cheese on it, lol

Taste/Food: 8/80 (10%) We ordered the Yuzu coke, masterpiece ramen and King and Queen truffle salt Ramen. Everything tasted horrible. The yuzu coke was flat and incredibly sour and both ramen did not taste good at all. They also looked and smelled very unappetizing. For around 50$ for all of this I was extremely disappointed. For having had good ramen before made with animal products, these vegan ramens pale in comparison completely. Service/Atmosphere: 2/10. Yuzu Coke came with a lid but no straws. Re-eatability: 0/10. Would never eat here again. Overall: 10/100. Terrible food, high prices, not worth it at all. Will never come back and would recommend to no one.
