Red Sorghum offers a mixed experience. While the crab soup dumplings provide a quick fix, they lack that special touch. The eggplant shines with its fresh, sweet flavor, perfectly balancing saltier dishes. The basil clams impress with their delightful blend of saltiness and garlic. The spicy bridge crossing fish, though tasty, could use an extra kick of spice. As for drinks, the forbiddance romance hits the mark with its sweet and sour balance, while the cherry blossom Martinez falls short. Unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired. From rushed greetings to neglected requests for clean plates and water refills, the server's inattentiveness disappoints. The contrast with neighboring tables receiving prompt attention exacerbates the frustration. Despite the flavorful dishes, the lackluster service detracts from the overall dining experience, leaving a bitter aftertaste. As a local who values supporting small businesses, the disappointing service overshadows the good food, making a return visit unlikely until improvements are made.

What a great spot. If you like spice, flavor and delicious food you are going to love it here. Really enjoyed the wontons, lucky coin tofu, and fried rice.

Best addition to LIC! The chinese food was mediocre in the neighborhood until trying this restaurant. Great place for date night. Cocktails are high end and quality. Can’t wait to come back with the girls!

Such an amazing atmosphere with breathtaking decor!! I had my rehearsal dinner here — drinks, food and servicewere impeccable. A must-go-to in LIC and I’m definitely coming back again. Highly recommend!!

Came here for a rehearsal dinner and I could not be happier. SOOOO GOOD; food, service and drinks. Get the rice, tofu and wontons. Everything was so good honestly.

Beautiful decor. Dandan noodles, wontons in chili oil, cumin lamb and ginger fish were particularly delicious. I just wish they were open later! Kitchen closed at 9:30pm on a Thursday which I thought was quite early.
