I found a piece of hair in my chicken empanada. I'm really really disgusted cause I love empanadas.
Extremely slow motion cashier, please hire someone has energy to work, letting the customer waiting without even looking at them.
Food culture is a looking glass focusing on developed tastes and comparisons. Red Ribbon's chicken empanada filled a long void of not having one in years, not sated by trying the Peruvian kind (with all due respect), whose casing is made from corn. Red Ribbon's chicken filling is more flavorful and replete with chicken texture vis-a-vis Luisa and Sons', which is another good bakeshop with its own satisfying version of the empanada. Same kudos goes to this place's palabok. The quintessential shrimp-based sauce is sure to excite many a palate.
They do not know how to answer their phone. I have been calling for the last 20 minutes. I guess they do not like my money.
This was my first experience trying the Red Ribbon Bakeshop located inside the Seafood City Market, in Cerritos. It is primarily a Philipino bakery that is well known amongst the community and makes a variety of pastries, cakes, flan, cheesecakes, and empanadas. There is a full menu of items to order for lunch or dinner as well. I can only review what I tried on this visit, which were the empanadas: chicken, beef, pork, and spicy chicken. The reason for my visit was to buy my clients a cake and when I brought them the Ube Overload cake, they were already familiar with the bakery and the empanadas. They were so surprised and elated that I had brought them treats from such a special place. I would like to go back and try all the other menu items. This was a great find!
Most of the time when you try to call them they don't answer, if you're there in person they're very nice but sometimes if you live long distances you would want them to answer the phone, but again in person they are very nice.
I am obsessed with the ube cake delicious. Haven’t buy anything else but that
