Was our first time when we whent. It was a couple days ago but we got the fried gator first time eating gator an will again. We got the make your own like thing. We got a lb Dungeness, 1 lb of headless shrimp. 1lb of clams an a half pound scallops. We added eggs and more sausage. We got the red peir mix an it was all fantastic. I'm going back Jan 6 for my birthday I'm hoping for king crab lol. The service was excellent an yhe young lady helped us throughly even with bagging it all up togo since it was alot of food. I would recommend an I will an will be going back alot.
My wife and I went there for our anniversary. They had large plates, the shrimp was hand breaded. The staff was friendly. Will be coming back again
Sadly we found and visited this amazing place too late. We learned that they will be closing for renovations and restaurant name and cuisine change in a few weeks. But for all of you who can quickly stop by there for one last yummy seafood meal goodbye do so because it's worth the time. I ate and enjoyed a delicious fried catfish basket (due to a shellfish allergy) and I was so pleased with it. I received 3-4 large catfish fillets and they tasted so good not greasy or tasting like mud from the bottom of the river like the other seafood place in Decatur. And for the others in my group who could have and enjoy the seafood crab boils they really were surprised with the amount that they received and the good flavors of it all too.
Food was great! Service was a bit iffy. No one was rude at all. Just not what I expected from a $130 dinner. More like bar service. (We sat in the dinning room)
I walked in the door at 7:06 pm Oct 10th, and the place was deserted. No one at the front desk, no one one in the bar, no one in the kitchen. NO ONE ANYWHERE, I walked out at 7:15...
