Red Phone Booth - The Colony

Absolutely amazing place! The waitresses are fantastic, Tim is great behind the bar, and Ron is the best GM I’ve ever met. 10/10 recommend. Just make sure you’re dressed well and know the password. I had to go find it, but it was well worth it!

We walked in, and we were immediately greeted by the best bartender, Jose. He immediately blew us away with his customer service and knowledge. However, let’s talk about the experience he provided us this evening. The drinks were top-notch, and he explained each step of the process so you could sit there and watch and make the drinks that were phenomenal. When he caramelized the top of a lime, then proceeded to gently remove the caramelized Brûlée top, and put that on top of a drink with sprinkles of cinnamon. Then we are warmly greeted by Ron, The manager. Ron is so kind and educated us on the amazing investment they have made in the kitchen with the Italian pizza ovens - ohhh the dough is amazing! This has to be a stop on any date night out on the town! Cheers!

So my husband and I had a date night. After dinner we decided to head here for a night cap. Upon entry we were told we BOTH needed to wear a coat they would offer us. I was appalled frankly. As a woman I have never been made feel uncomfortable entering a bar and it was incredibly uncomfortable. We ended up leaving immediately. The place smelled like smoke because obviously there is a cigar bar - but if you don't like the smell of smoke it's a problem. Just to further clarify - I was NOT dressed inappropriately. I had just been out for a date! Rothy flats, madewell black denim, sheer overlay blouse with a tank under, Tory Burch earrings. Getting told I don't meet dress code at a bar - this is an absolute first for me. We had 2 friends meet us here from out of town and one of them literally wearing a sports logo short sleeve casual shirt and sweatpants. They didn't say anything to him but they sure told me I was inappropriately dressed. I'll never go back and would not recommend.

Wow is all I can say! It’s a place that makes you feel like you’re part of something exclusive. I was greeted by DJ and was made to feel welcome right from the start. I met the General Manager Ron and he was kind enough to take me for a tour and this an amazing place. He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and teach me the history of this and the other establishments in other cities. Food was fantastic! Thank you to DJ, Ron and The Red Phone Booth for a memorable night. I will be back for sure!

Phenomenal experience!!! I can’t give higher than 5 stars but I would if I could. From the IFYKYK style patronage to the super grounded house rules and even brilliantly integrated structural engineering to further facilitate the atmosphere on multiple levels (another ifykyk ;) Great and unique cocktails, cigars, and staff that has never heard of too much hospitality. Please please please find a local sleuth or business to point you towards this amazing establishment so you can experience it as soon as possible and join the club.

Dj and Kelly’s customer service was amazing and the atmosphere was so enjoyable. Never have I been to an establishment that showed so much service to me. Such a great experience. Thank you Kelly for your service and attention. DJ thank you for your friendly vibe and welcoming attitude. So much fun!
