RED O "Taste of Mexico"

2/8/2024 What an amazing evening at Red O in Newport Beach. We had reservations for 5:30 p.m and were greeted by Sherlyn and Stella. Both are such amazing individuals and represent what stellar customer service is! 10 plus. Great smiles, and it is evident that they both love their jobs and people. We were led to a wonderful table near the fireplace, and Stella was so pleasant and accommodating. Our server Kendra came over and introduced herself and took our drink orders. My wife had Don Julio Blanco, club soda, three limes muddled, and mint, and I had a nice shot of Cincoro neat on a large ice cube and a frozen Mango margarita. The drinks were amazing. We also ordered the guacamole, which went well with the chips and salsa. Kendra checked back with us and took our entree order. My wife had grilled fish tacos, and I had the filet mignon, medium rare with grilled shrimp and plantains. Both dishes were fantastic. Kendra was quite attentive and checked on us regularly. After another Cincoro, we decided on coffee and some ice cream to top off our wonderful evening. The staff is amazing here at Red O, and all of the employees are so professional, kind, and service oriented. This is definitely one of our favorites in the OC and number one Mexican cuisine in the area. Highly recommended. 1/21/2024 Another amazing evening at Red O in Newport Beach. We made a reservation to the site near the fireplace in the dining room, which is so nice. Upon arrival, the hostesses were so nice and professional. The warm smiles upon arrival always set the town for a wonderful evening. We were seated at a wonderful table adjacent to the fireplace. We visited with Ceasar, one of our favorite servers, and a very kind and pleasant person. Our server Rocky came by and took our drink and appetizer order of empanada poppers and she was so nice. We thoroughly enjoyed Rocky's attentive and professional customer service as well as her amazing personality during our conversations with her. We started with our drinks with my wife ordering her favorite, Don Julio Blanco with club soda, 3 limes muddled and mint and I had a few of the Cincoro Reposado tequila neat on a large ice cube and a frozen mango margarita. When it came time to order entrees, my wife ordered the Baja fish tacos, grilled, and I ordered the filet mignon with shrimp, plantains, and beans. The food was simply amazing and so tasty. After dinner, Rocky took our order for black coffee and two scoops of ice cream, one coconut, and one chocolate. We had a wonderful time just talking and enjoying each other, the food, the ambiance, and the outstanding customer service. Highly recommended. 12/3/2023 What an amazing evening and dining experience at Red O in Newport. We started with carnitas empanadas and our favorite tequilla drinks. The new Cincoro Reposado chilled on a large ice cube neat was fantastic. I had to have two, lol. My wife had a skinny Margarita. Melissa was an amazing server and such a sweet, kind person. For our entrees, my wife had two grilled fish and one short rib taco with rice and beans, and she loved the dish. I had filet mignon with a side of shrimp and plantains with refried beans. The restaurant was nicely decorated for Christmas, and we sat right by the fireplace. Highly recommended. 10/21/23 Always a wonderful dining experience. I've literally never had food and drinks come out so fast! The service was amazing, food was delicious, ambiance was a vibe. It was clear that they were well-staffed and the wait staff seemed to enjoy their work environment.

RedO is outstanding. I am originally from Mexico, have been all over the world, have offices in 4 states and I will tell you - this place is amazing!! - I loved the service from entrance to bus staff to serve staff and management - The Manager Hillary is so nice and all the staff was super friendly. THE FOOD was OUTSTANDING!!! - The drinks amazing. Highly recommend this place!! - ENRIQUE & VICTORIA SERNA.

This place is so much fun! Their Taco Tuesday is so much fun and we love DJ Jonny Risk! The music he plays is so on point and blends in with the atmosphere perfectly
