Red Lobster

I have only been to red lobster twice in my life. I went with my mom this occasion because she loves seafood and we were celebrating a milestone in her life. the waitress and staff in general were VERY NICE. kudos on the staff. the passion colada drink was DELICIOUS. the we both got the SESAME SOY SALMON BOWL. If u read the menu and look at the picture, it describes a spring mix salad with edamame.... we got iceberg lettuce with nothing on it. it describes "crispy" Brussel sprouts. however made this has no idea what they're doing. it looked and tasted like burnt thin black CRISPY paper. not good. I thought it was regular orzo on the menu but apparently it was orzo rice, so my mistake but it was cooked well and yummy. and the salmon was yummy as well. there was sesame vinaigrette as described albeit less than shown in the picture. overall disappointing. we should have asked for a discount seeing as how we were not even told there would be no edamame or spring mix, and the horrible inedible Brussel sprouts. of the like 8 Brussel sprouts, maybe half of one was edible. I know people go here for shellfish so maybe that's the way to go, I wouldn't know. oh and their biscuits are still as delicious as I remember. I reminded myself we were there to celebrate my moms day and this was her restaurant pick so it is what it is. I will not be returning

Good food

I haven't been to a Red Lobster in a year or 2. The food was good but a bit salty for my taste. The service was slow. Our waitress was also the bartender, so there was the problem, in my opinion. A few other waitresses tried to help. One lady was better than the rest, but overall, slow service. As usual, the place is dark and dusty. The lampshades had dust hanging from them. The wainscoting top had a layer of dust you could see from across the aisle. Not a comfortable experience. I won't go back. Vegetarian options: I didn't see any options outside of a salad. The salad was fresh.

Service was very polite. The Togo employee was excellent. It was Easter, but the restaurant was not very busy assuming the Togo orders were. Other than the wait it was great.

One of my favorite restaurants for more than 40 years. I have always found the food exceptional. Of course, the biscuits are to die for. And on my last visit I had delicious stuffed flounder and crispy fried calamari. However in 40 years I have never experienced such incompetency among the food service personnel. Took two desperate requests of the hostess to get orders taken; the waitress never asked if the meal was satisfactory (if she had asked I would have told her that she failed to provide me with one of my sides; and the side she ultimately served was the puniest portion ever seen. I know that after Covid, it is hard to find qualifies food service personnel, but Red Lobster needs to try harder.
