Great food.
The shrimp was over cooked and of poor quality.
Very disappointing. When you walk in, it looks very dirty & dusty. The lobster tank looked filthy, the tables look worn down and our menus were falling apart. I ordered the surf & turf and I wish I could get my money back. My steak had no flavor & was dry, the mash potatoes tasted like the prepackage water pack from the grocery store, the broccoli was hard, the lobster had no flavor and was chewy. My husband ordered the lobster pasta & on top of it having no flavor, he also had shells pieces throughout it. We saw our waitress twice (she was nice) but we wait 10 minutes for bread (that was cold!!) because she was nowhere to be found. For a check dang near $90, they should be ashamed. We haven’t had Red Lobster in years, and we won’t have it ever again.
After sitting on a $50 gift card for almost a year (don't eat out often) we went out and had a great dinner. 20-minute wait time, the server greeted us with lemon water and keep bringing those amazing biscuits. We both ordered fish and chips and a cup of clam chowder. Order came very quickly and everything was delicious with a huge chunk of fish and a lot of chips. The bill was $48 and change. Definitely be going back!
I specifically do not like this location. It’s dirty and the server added a tip on my credit card without my permission. Food was not great. I would avoid this location by all costs.
Service was terrible. The food was decent. Really poorly put together and not presentable at all. I started going to red lobster once, sometimes twice a week when I was up north. I came to this location. I'm good on red lobster
It’s comfort food. Some items are a little heavy (high fat/rich).
The waitress was good, I was just disappointed in the fish and chips. Small amount of fries and one piece of fish for 20 bucks and it tasted funny. For a seafood restaurant, pretty disappointing.
This was one of the best experiences I have had at a Red Lobster in a while. My server Mark from the bar area was incredible, kind, understanding, fast, and personable. He continuously paid attention to his tables asking if everything was going well and how the food was, refilling my iced tea and gave great recommendations on my food choice dilemma. The food was really good, but the sauce a buerr blanc, on the new Lobster topped stuffed Flounder fish, was a little saltier than I prefer, but otherwise delicious after being cut with some lemon. Again Marc was totally amazing and never slowed down, continuing to prep the bar with fresh cut fruit and yet taking care of his guests. I had a fabulous experience. I will return to that location on Grossmont Center Drive in La Mesa, even if for just a drink. Thank you for a wonderful experience. You should be proud of having people like Mark and the hostesses on your team.
