Stopped here for some drinks on a random Tuesday. Great service! I also ordered fish and chips. Good overall experience!

Grew up in downtown Indy. Been going here my whole life but came back while on leave from across the country since I don’t get to come home often and decided to introduce my wife to it. Not the same as it used to be. I know the economy isn’t doing great but please explain what world it makes sense to pay 10 dollars for 1 scotch egg unless each piece of it is decently sized. Shepards pie was good but still felt like a small portion. Half order of fish and chips was very good. Strongly recommend it. Wife got the portobellos mushroom which was extremely over seasoned and was kinda disgusting. Also some of her food was downright cold. I cannot get over the 10 dollar egg. It sucks that our experience was immediately bogged down by that especially because I had been hyping it up to my wife before we got there. Came here last year too, Completely different experience. Didn’t have a single problem and normally I never leave a restaurant upset or slightly mad but for what we got it just feels like a giant waste of money. Also the server didn’t even bother to introduce himself, make small talk, or even act polite. It was a Saturday night and the entire restaurant was empty by the time me and my wife left and the whole time we were there they were blaring very poorly mixed music that made no since being mixed together. Also it’s a British food/bar. Why am I hearing Michael Jackson’s beat it and then Lizzo all within the span of 30 seconds only to make a poor transition to another artist.
