Amazing service, such a nice ambiance, and the staff are so friendly, food is 20/10
One of the best tavern in all of New York City. Great vibes and incredible food. They are famously known for their dry aged cheeseburger and believe me it did not disappoint. Bit out-of-the-way in red Hook Brooklyn however, definitely worth the trip. Book ahead.
It was a fun environment with casual yet refined and respectful service that served delicious food. The wedge salad was deceptively delicious and tasted better with 90 hip hop in the background. The cheese plate was our starter and we had that with both selections of orange wine. The grilled sourdough and healthy portions of cheese (thank you for not being stingy) were a great start to a fun meal. When you think wedge salad it seems like you can’t get much more than the classic that you expect. RHT actually found a way to make it better and shareable. A thick slab cut bacon over layers of lettuce hearts with every layer was dressed and seasoned without being soggy. The burger is a must have with the hot crisp fries. Ketchup or mayo go well with the fries. Hot, delicious, juicy, and simple. No dessert because we were full but the portions were healthy without being excessive. I can’t wait to go back.
Service was great, food lived up to the hype! The most amazing shrimp cocktail.
Burger was pretty good but the fries were grossly undercooked. I asked if I can have my fries cooked well done, and the server said it was not possible. I knew this would happen. Be better.
