Breakfast guy had the lights off at 9:50 and was quickly putting the food away. I asked what time they stop serving Breakfast he said 10am, pretty rude
They have decent baked goods and a wide variety of beverages. The grab and go ham sandwich was alright. Some of the hot food is a bit hard on a cancer patients stomach. More comfort foods would be nice like chicken noodle soup, grilled cheese. Cauliflower and hummus gyros are pretty hard to digest. We used to go to MD Anderson cancer center and their cafeteria was like a mall. Tons of choices. There isn’t really anything within walking distance of SCCA for a quick meal. We decided to just pack our lunches. Unfortunately there isn’t any place to really eat it as the center wants food and drink to be limited in the waiting areas.
Great food but, seems like it's always remodeling
It's a nice very basic place to eat. It is right inside the cancer center which makes it convenient
Closed for construction, but temporarily relocated to the 3rd floor.
Keep in mind that there is a hot food "dead hour" from 10am - 11am as they transition from breakfast to lunch. During this time, however, you can still grab a sandwich or whatever is in the cooler. Coffee is still available during that hour. That being said, there are usually two options. One typically includes a meat protein while the other is usually vegetarian (not vegan). Both options are almost always sub $10.00. For Seattle, this is a great value for what you get and the meals are typically pretty health focused. After all, you're at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance so that adds up. This review is still during the pandemic (Delta Variant being the current big one), and a lot of patrons will be immunocompromised. It's nice to have this option and the tables spread far enough apart and cleaned regularly. Staff is very friendly. I see the odd review from non Seattle natives thinking that the staff is slightly standoffish, but I believe that's just a culture difference and people mistaking our mannerisms for curtness. I'll stop the review here before it gets more preachy. Overall I definitely recommend.
