Perfect place portions taste and price... I little less price is always welcomed, but the prices are reasonable..

The absolute best sliced brisket, and their giant beef rib **chefs kiss** the fried corn, amazing! Absolutely couldn’t put it down! Ohh and the turkey was so juicy and tender… Had to drive and hour to get there from the Woodlands, but by far the best bbq I’ve had in HTown and the surrounding areas!

We key in on sampling local BBQ cuisine during our business travels and Ray's Real Pit BBQ came with high recommendation. Let the salivations begin. BBQ here is smoked well and served as-is leaving you the choice of adding Ray's sauce which is tomato-based but a delicious add. I found the pulled pork to be smoked well and flavorful although a bit on the wet side. Everyone's opinion was that they would definitely come again even if to order/try different items on the menu. Mac n Cheese: coming from a table of 8, this side dish proved to be the most disappointing. You receive noodles slightly undercooked in a watery cheese sauce. I regret not taking photos for this review for even the eye wouldn't be received. Score of 1.

It didn't taste that good to me, the ribs taste like it was boiled and it didn't have that smokey taste like from the pit

I ordered the 2-piece catfish meal. Very delicious!! I got sleepy after eating!! In other words, very satisfying!!!

Upon entering the restaurant I was welcomed with the sweet aroma of Some down home masque BAR B QUE.. ..THE FOOD WAS DEEEEELICIOUS..THE SERVICE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FOOD HANDLING AND PACKING WAS TO MY SATISFACTION.. THE PEACH COBBLER WAS JUST WHAT MY SOUL WAS SEARCHING FOR... THANK YOU RAY'S "REAL" BAR B QUE FOR BEING WORTH EVERY PENNY I SPENT ❤️..(I ordered two meat platters but couldn't finish it all cause the portions was fit for Queen and King dinning only)AMEN..be ready to suck your fingers and stomp and smack cause Ray's got it like that NO CAPS

I was so excited to visit this place for the first time. While trying to place an order for dine in, my husband and I encountered a very disrespectful cashier. The food was alright, but unfortunately I’ll pass on this place because of service.
