Great atmosphere, feels like family

This is a very special place.

Had to stop by before the holidays since they'll be closed for a month. Had a yummy mulled mead. The expansion is coming along nicely, can't wait for it to be all done.

I was in Huntsville visiting state parks in the area and saw an event was being hosted by Ravenwood. I am sad that the State of Alabama put out a fire ban today so the burning part of the event was cancelled and changed to a rain event. I pre-ordered 3 dinners and when taking to the bartender, she was prepared for those of us that came from out of town. She offered us a refund if we wanted but I read really excited for the rosemary bread bowl with beef stew so she was able to make our three plates. I tried a flight of limited edition mead and loved it. I will be back, I greatly enjoyed the positive vibe of this Meadery.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with plenty of comfortable seating options to hang out and chat with your friends. The themed and regular drinks are well crafted and delicious and the staff is super friendly. Definitely go here if you want a unique experience!

I should have reviewed this wonderful place sooner. As someone who only has one off day a week, I'm perfectly content to spend that evening at Ravenwood.

I went to Ravenwood in search of a mead to compare to my homemade fig mead. They were very helpful in discussing the process and where my flavor notes came from based on how I did my ferment. The knowledge-sharing and flavors were both phenomenal! Check out their Facebook page for events and notice when new batches are bottled. I'm sad I missed the peach and nectarine bottles.
