We came here for dinner and enjoyed the Filipino fusion flavours and service. Between the three of us, we shared the salmon kilawin (this was slightly bland so not a must), tiger prawns (great), torta talking eggplant (amazing flavour, a favourite), roasted cauliflower salad (nice), piangyang chicken (delicious flavour with perfectly cooked chicken, another favourite) and the slow roasted lechon (good). Although they say it's tapas style, the portion sizes are decent and it was good value for money. The service was friendly and attentive.
Bottomless brunch was amazing! The food was very delicious and the drinks were topped up without having to wait or any fuss, the staff were lovely. They also have a karaoke room!
So I visited with some friends a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday night, the food was really good and worth the wait but our night was ruined by the service. First of all, there was at most two people working on the floor, one of whom I believe was South Asian, they were very understanding and kind but the other waiter was something else entirely. He completely behaved like he would rather be anywhere than at the restaurant. He was overly aggressive and seemed to be angry at everything. He also appeared to be intimidating other diners and my friends with his poor attitude which was annoying and uncomfortable. I myself have worked in the service industry for many years and would be utterly mortified if someone like that represented my team. The other waiter, although polite and patient, just seemed resigned to his behaviour as if it was a regular occurrence. Hope for the sake of the business that this isn't the case as it marred the whole experience. Overall, the food is lovely! But quite frankly, I will only ever go back with the guarantee that I have anyone BUT that guy wait on me again.
Amazing food! So creative! You gained yourself 2 loyal customers. Also told by the manager they have another chain in Surrey called Rambling Pig which is a bit closer. Will give it a visit.
Came here for lunch, good price for poke bowl and very filling.
Tienen una tarta de brownie impresionante. Y el café muy rico. Personal encantador
Cosiest hidden gem in the heart of Hoxton. I have been here many times and dishes are so flavourful, I cannot fault it. Bonus points as they make homemade vegan coconut ice cream. Try as many dishes as you can!
Excepte la musique trop forte, ce qui gâche un peu le plaisir, la cusine est excellente, les cocktails tres bons. Une belle decouverte.
Love this place. The menu may be limited, but what we ordered were delish - vegan brunch, chicken waffle, lechon kawali, and ube shakes. Friendly and courteous wait staff. We never felt we were rushed or anything. Prices are very reasonable, too. Will definitely come back to this joint whenever I’m in London.
