So disappointed. I used to love this place before Covid!! Way overpriced for what you get now (no wine below $100, average appetizer $25, entree $40-60). Make sure you ask the price of specials, we ordered T-Bone steak and they charged us $175!!!! Really?? Not to mention the mistakes on the final bills about the number of drinks we ordered. I know business is tough, but you can’t take advantage of customers the way you do. $200 per person is not acceptable for such an establishment. We will never come back.

Raoul’s is an experience to behold. We just celebrated my wife’s birthday there and everything was fantastic! Our waiter was the best and the food, as always, did not disappoint.

my party got very lucky and was able to walk in to raouls at around 5:30 and did not have to wait. the restaurant is very small and we were seated near the door which wasn’t great because when it got crowded people kept bumping the back of my seat. aside from that the restaurant is very cute with photos all around. our server was very sweet and gave great recommendations. service was also speedy which i appreciate because i am super inpatient. as for food we ordered the ham and comte beignets, fios gras, steak tartare, lobster tortellini, steak au poivre and banana coconut bread pudding. flavor wise everything was phenomenal however for portion size and price not everything was worth it. the ham and comte beignets were just croquettes, not be beignets. the flavor was extremely good however for $25 they are not worth it. same goes for the fios gras, the flavor was outstanding but the portion size was so small and the price was higher than most places. as for entrees the steak had extremely good flavor and it was a very soft cut of meat, the fries did not taste house made yet they were still addictive. for $78 i once again don’t think it is worth the money. the steak tartare was the only thing worth the price, the portion was actually very big and it was the best steak tartare i’ve had in NY thus far (and i’ve had quite a few). the lobster tortellini was the best bite of the night and there was a lot of lobster in the tortellini so i think arguably they were worth the price as well. it came with 4 fair sized tortellini and the sauce they pour over i genuinely don’t have words for. we ended with the coconut banana bread pudding which flavor wise was again amazing but it was the smallest dessert i’ve ever had therefore it is not worth the price at all. i think it’s worth ordering once because it’s that good but it’s just too small for $12. overall i would come back here and i would recommend this restaurant but just know that it’s going to cost a pretty penny. definitely a nice restaurant for a celebration.
