Excellent Italian restaurant, very intimate but lively. Food was delicious, service was good so overall worth a visit. If you're looking for a quiet place to talk this isn't the best choice.
You can tell the ingredients are quality. Vibes are wonderful in here. Owner and staff checks in constantly and you never have a drink empty which is a nice touch. Only reason for my 4 stars is that valet was $10 when I showed up but $15 when I left. Not classy guys lol
I love the Papardelle Ragu dish and I hope it never leaves the menu! So happy to eat this every time I come to Rao's. Dietary restrictions: Dairy free!
Awesome experience and great Italian food. Large Portion sizes and great service.
I really loved this place, the food was delicious. The portions are grossly oversized; to European visitors it seems VERY expensive, just order less than you would at home because there’s a lot of waste. Take a deep gulp at the cost of wine in US & then enjoy what you ordered.
Overpriced, basic Italian fare. $42 veal scallopini which were tougher, chewier than you'd imagine. $29 Papardelle Ragu, very small portion, very basic flavor. $20 for two meatballs for 1 appetizer. That's right $20. $14 generic ny cheesecake out of a box probably. Service lagged, was slow. Looked for server a few times for basic inquiries. We recommend you look up these basic Italian recipes, make them at home and save yourself $200 (including tax & tip) for 1 App, 2 Entree (one very small), one shared cheesecake, 2 cocktails. Will not revisit.
