Literally the best Burmese food in Portland and one of my favorite restaurants hands down. Reasonably priced. You have to try the tea leaf salad!! I don't know what they do to their mushrooms but I have honestly never had a better mushroom in my life as was on the mushroom noodles.
We came late after 9pm one Saturday night without reservation. Parking was easy and the restaurant was pretty empty. We were four of us and ordered food at the ordering window. All food came very quickly. Ghin salad was nice and crunchy. Mala aloo was very different- a little soggy because of the oil underneath but I think that was the intention and it was flavorful nonetheless. The Mix fry plate was really good with each of us having our favorites. The entrees were disappointing though. The tofu nway and 1/2 chicken entrees were both very mediocre. We did enjoy the space and the music playing- very tropical feeling to it.
Delicious food, wonderful staff, and great casual atmosphere. Portland is full of great food options, but this is going to become a regular spot for me. 5 stars no question
Incredibly tasty! What a great crew!
Amazing food, many options for vegans and meat-eaters alike, and most importantly, tastes great! Doesn't hurt that they play great music and it feels like you could be sitting in a little cafe in SE Asia enjoying the local fare :) Staff were super personable and accommodating. Check it out!
They outdo themselves every time. Get the fry mix!! Get the chicken!!
The most exciting flavors I’ve had in awhile!
