Never had a bad meal here , food is lovely

Hidden gem in plain sight Kid-friendliness: Excellent range for children. My daughter had the children's salmon sushi with fries arrived in a giant wooden boat! Son had the burger and is very fussy however managed to finish our starters, his own meal and some steak too. Early bird is such good value. Wine £13.95 I would say having been to the majority of restaurants on South Road this is by far the best value for money. Three course for £17.95. Hidden gem in plain sight.

A larger group visited for my son's 18th birthday at the venue. The staff provided exceptional service, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was served promptly and was delicious. The drinks were reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, feeling relaxed and at home, and will certainly return in the future.

Food, drink and service all perfect. Good value all round nothing to complain about. Atmosphere a bit grim, down to lack of customers I would think. Best steak I have had for a long time.

Great service great food Kid-friendliness: Lots of great food for kids

Been for first time and in my opinion it was "OK", I wasn't blown away but it was alright. One of the people I was with had ribeye steak and they were happy with it. Regrettably I'm a bit cynical with restaurants and felt a bit Let down with sides and accompaniments (fries, rice etc) - they felt "bought in" and when paying £30 per head I definitely want things to feel a bit more "home made". I would possibly go back and try again with something else.
