"Savoring the Fusion Flavors: Rancho la Perla's Salvadoran and Mexican Street Food Extravaganza" In the heart of Riverside, California, Rancho la Perla stands out as a culinary treasure blending the best of Salvadorian and Mexican street food. During my two-week Californian sojourn, this hidden gem emerged as the unrivaled champion in the street taco scene, even for someone like me, a UK native not well-versed in these delicacies. While I could wax poetic about the freshly made tortillas, Rancho la Perla's true culinary prowess goes beyond words—it demands a personal encounter. The fusion of Salvadorian and Mexican flavors creates a unique experience that lingers in your memory long after the last bite. Rancho la Perla isn't just a restaurant; it's a portal to the vibrant street food cultures of both El Salvador and Mexico. From pupusas to tacos, each dish tells a story of tradition and culinary expertise. My favorite? Well, you'll have to visit to discover your own, but I can assure you that disappointment is not on the menu. Rancho la Perla is a culinary journey that transcends borders, offering a delectable fusion that deserves a place on your must-try list. Whether you're a street food aficionado or a newcomer like me, this spot is a delicious revelation in Riverside's diverse food scene. Follow me for more @hiddengemuk
They are always very sweet (employee's) and the food is SUPER DELICIOUS
Great hearty authentic mexican food, Ordered a Carne asada torta with everything on it and some spicy salsa it was fire. Got that old-school vibe.
Tried this place for the first time today it was decent, the portion sizes were very generous. The revuelta pupusas were not that great I could barely taste the chicharron, the platanos were way too ripe but the curtido was delicious.
They gave us the table by the bathroom , no problem. The server gave us our drinks (coke and a lemonade) then she went to take care of another customers… 30 minutes pass by and we heard that she was saying bye to her coworkers. We waited for our food that never came! We asked another server and she said “you guys just came in, there is more orders ahead of you” ?!! What!!!! We been here for more than 30 minutes! She was taking care of people that came after us!! And instead of saying I’m sorry we will see what had happen she told us that we have to wait longer! Really bad service! We got up payed for the drinks $9.85! I think she thought she deserves a tip!!
