Ramrod Fort Lauderdale

Have been a long time resident of Ft. Lauderdale and have on many occasions gone to the Ramrod for some casual fun.. I went last week for PIG Dance and was so overcrowded with overweight hairy guys that smelled like they haven't bathed in a while it was to say it mildly a turn off. I'm certainly not a prude, and the excitement of wall men. But with that said, if that's your scene.. then head to the Ramrod for some sweaty fun..

Thieves! I went to this disgusting dump of a bar last night to meet a friend. When we we’re ready to leave, I tried to pay my tab. The bartender insisted that I had already paid and that he had already given me my credit card back. Who holds a card these days anyway?! When I got home I realized my card was not in my wallet he had not given it back. I had to go back today and have a ridiculous argument with the bartender on hand about getting my card back. He insisted that my card had already been given back. After about 30 Minutes of useless arguing about it he finally decided to look in the stack of hundreds of cards that they had stolen from other people. Mine was on top! Never use a card at ramrod!

Lost a lot of its crowd to the Eagle and has compensated for it by using smaller plastic cups for drinks. Pig Dance used to be packed but pretty empty the night I went. Weird drunk people walking across the dance floor and bumping into people trying to dance to the good music the DJ was playing.

Exactly what I expected, I loved the experience, I was a tad early. But the fellowship shown to each other in the "poolroom" was exceptional. Loved being able to perform service work.....

Great bar, but watch your wallet.
