RAMEN-SAN

I visited Chicago from New York and our group was craving ramen. We visited in a Sunday around 6 pm, there was seating available. We ordered a variety of ramen dishes and they were all tasty. I really enjoyed my kimchi and fried chicken ramen, it was delicious. We ordered the donuts for dessert and they were really tasty as well! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian option was super flavorful!

Firstly, I am not from this city so have no bias, I have eat ramen across the world and my wife is Korean, this was the worst I've ever had. Noodles were hard and stuck together, making them like concrete, now, I am pretty sure these were packet noodles too...but to make matters worse both bowls had the same problem, this is totally unacceptable when the noodles are everything. Not sure what went wrong but I won't be back. If you cannot make the noodles then try a different profession, and lose the loud music, that isn't the Japanese way.

Run don’t walk to the edamame hummus. Idk how they make it but it’s magical! Vegetarian/vegan ramen was also killer!! They had a couple vegan options but could easily have more, would love to see some veggies that don’t have non-vegan additions.

I love ramen san! The lunch express is perfect for a quick lunch and it comes with ramen, a rice dish and small salad. The ramen is flavorful and the service is great. The music is also awesome so it makes for a fun atmosphere. Definitely coming back!
