Beautiful restaurant with a nice selection of cocktails, beer and ramen. I ordered the spicy roasted garlic miso with extra pork belly and extra noodles. Also decided to pair it up with a saki high ball (think that’s the name) very good cocktail, definitely could have ordered more but it wasn’t the move for the night. The broth was delicious, pork belly was some of the best of had in the city so far, having the second order of noodles was the cherry on top. Definitely was needed since I went thru the ramen noodle really quick. 10/10 I’ll be back for more.
They have great cocktails! The spicy ramen & the tuna bowl were amazing. I can’t wait to go back and get it again. The egg rolls were fantastic as well
Came here last summer, and the atmosphere was so good. I tried the limited time dipping ramen. The flavors and the seasoning were really nice. I also tried a regular OG tonkatsu ramen, and it was good too. I'd recommend you reserve a table in advance because the place is quite small. Walk-in usually takes 1 hour for the table.
I ordered the spicy garlic miso ramen and it was a delicious, very traditional bowl of ramen. I found the pork to be cooked perfectly (better than most I've had at this caliber), and loved how many green onions and garlic chips I found in the broth. Personally, compared to other bowls of ramen in the city, I found both the noodles and the broth to be a little disappointing and lacking compared to other bowls I've had, but in reality, this is a great traditional bowl of ramen that's done well. I'd come back to try the tonkotsu or even the Shoyu.
My favorite ramen spot in all of Chicago. The broth is exquisite. Don't pass on ordering the pork belly buns. Prices are fair. Servers are always friendly. Just wish they accepted reservations because it can be quite difficult to get a table.
