Raja Rani Indian Restaurant

Editing this review after giving it a try several time, the taste has degraded drastically & items were missing in spl.buffet (14th April 2024 - Tamil new year buffet) The bad: - One of the puller for my buffet is Nethli fry & it was missing. - Curd rice is solid and dry ! - mango drink is a diluted version of mango flavored ice cream. The good: - Cut Mirchi & Chutney - chicken pepper fry. - Idly I have informed the owner multiple times about the taste getting diluted, somehow i get a defensive answer :(. I really wish they turnout to be a good restaurant like their opening taste, the place and proximity is great however, the taste keeps pushing me out even after several tries :(.

Good food and good service

Wish I could give “0” stars to this restaurant. We placed an order for idli and a ghee roast dosa. After 15 mins of ordering the lady comes up to us and say, they don’t have idli and the dosa had no taste at all. It felt like a toasted wax paper. Chutney had gone bad and the sambar was a thick curry, microwaved yet cold in some parts. No spoons, forks or water was served until we asked for it after the food came to the table. I have no idea how in this earth do they have 4.3 stars and how come they are still in business.

They say they are king of South Indian food, we ordered idli, and answered was NO we don’t have .

I would never recommend dining in or ordering food from Raja Rani restaurant, Quincy. I had a bad experience ordering food from the restaurant. I am a vegetarian and I ordered matar paneer, instead I got butter chicken. I cannot trust the restaurant again, I don’t know what procedures they follow to make sure the vegetarian food is cooked separately. Their customer service is so pathetic that after calling them about the issue, they didn’t have anything to say, they didn’t even understand I was trying to say because they couldn’t understand English at all, neither were they able to reply. I tried in Hindi and they were struggling with that. I told them to connect me with their manager and they didn’t even do that, they didn’t even share the name of the manager. Again, if you are ordering food from them, do it at your own risk, I am never doing it again, bad service, bad food and no follow up. The picture I have uploaded is of butter chicken we got instead of Matar paneer.
