One of my absolute favorite hole in the walls. Came back after 4 years, so happy the quality is the same after Covid. This is a no frills dining experience, you come for the food. And the food delivers. You can tell everything is made with intention and doesn’t cheat with using too much diary or sugar or oil. The flavors are bombastic but the feeling is nourishment. Their lunch specials are complete and generous, they give you naan and rice and lentils and aachar and salad with any entree!! I wish all restaurants were like this.

Food took a while and was just ok. Probably won't return despite being close by.

I’ve been ordering from them for years. It’s very good, one of my favorite Indian takeout places in Oakland. If you want spicy you need to tell them you want spicy. Otherwise they’ll give you a more mild version.

My favorite Indian place in Oakland. Everything is delicious. We love their appetizers - the potato patty one is so good. I wish I had more space in my tummy for more of their food.

I ordered a spicy lamb biryani and there was no spice at all. Is it because I'm not Indian that they think I can't handle the spice? Then I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for my order only for it to be wrong, it's very disappointing. Will never be back
