My husband and I were in the East Bay and he suggested that wego to Canes. Since I didn't know much about it except what he told me about it and some speak around town that there is one coming to San Jose soon I figured why not in. When we drove up, there was a pretty decent size line & similar to how the setup is at Chick-fil-A with double lines and assume that they get a lot of business so this place must be awesome. So I ordered a meal which included chicken strips, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast and their Cane Sauce. Took a bite and it was....just slightly better than okay. . I mean it was okay/good..So I've done my fair share of waiting in ridiculous lines at In and Out and Chick-fil-A and would definitely do it again but for Cane's nope... certainly would not wait in those types of lines. It was pretty okay but I just didn't get that "I can't wait to go back to that place" feeling. It would be cool if the offered other sauce choices and if they do they didn't ask which one I wanted. And the strips were kinda small although they looked appetizing and had a nice crunchy coating... I personally like Krispy Crunchy chicken better, they have a decent selection of sides and you're in and out much faster.
Very bad experience. Also very unsafe location
Foods good. Pretty expensive for chicken strips. Drive thru line always takes minimum 40 minutes. The area is not the best so the dining room is closed and its drive thru only so its always backed up.
Bought food in the drive thru, several cars in front of me, the wait was not that bad
Soooo good!..sauce is it!!!.. I just wish I had of ordered more strips because they're kinda small in size for me
