Update: I despise the drive thru on busy nights. Everyone crowds through. No one follows a merge etiquette. Order taking is so random on which side they use. Hard pass when they're busy. Original review: Third attempt to try Cane's. When they first opened I was pissed off at the extra traffic backing up Colorado Blvd for a block on my commute home. So I refused to go (like I refuse to go to that burger joint in Aurora). Everyone started talking about Cane's so I caved and tried the drive through. I despise employees being forced to work outside in the cold. Poor guy was grumpy. I drove off. Several months later more people were talking about it. I tried again. This time the line was so long and so slow I left again. Then my work neighbor started talking about it. So I looked up their menu. I was surprised at how small the menu is. They have like 5 items packaged into 4 very similar combos. Sticking to what they know. Respect. What could go wrong? I decided to try again when I noticed the line was short. Staff was friendly. Everything went smoothly. I made a modification at the window. They handled it well. I get home. The food is in Styrofoam. That's another pet peeve of mine. Most places are converting to something recyclable. I'm disappointed. That said the chicken was wonderful. It was cooked perfectly. It was juicy without being under cooked and pink and it wasn't over cooked and tough. The portion seemed reasonable (3 strips). The fries are basic, but cooked fine. The toast is a nice touch, but nothing spectacular. I wasn't thrilled of the Cane's sauce. It's the only sauce they have. It's like a barbecue aioli with a hint of spice. I liked the coleslaw. It had too much sauce for my liking, but reminded me of the KFC coleslaw from my childhood (40 y.o.). Nostalgia! I can see why lots of people like it. The Styrofoam will probably keep me away.
Food was good, employees friendly, the wait wasn’t long. I also appreciated that they were open later than most other places around them that didn’t require the use of a drive through.
All 3 # 3 oders were missing children strips it supposed to come with 3 strips. Each box was missing a strip.
love the food but check your order they don't know how to count.
Not only is this my favorite fast food but the young lady working Violet was very respectful and had excellent service showing she really cared about the customers there
Any Cane's is always amazing
Waited in the drive thru lane for 30 minutes. Got my order wrong and overcharged me. They have four menu items, really impressive to be that bad.
As far as fast food restaurants on Colorado Boulevard, this is the gold standard.
