Brisket was the worst I have ever had. For real. I usually eat it without sauce wherever I go but it was so bland. Like really bland. So I put some sause on it and it was so salty I couldn't even finish a bite. $17 For that and 3 pork ribs that seemed like they were reheated from the day before. Super nice people and great service but food was awful. Avoid this place.

Some good ol’ BBQ. I either get the lean brisket or the stuff potato and am always satisfied!

After finishing up eating, I look over at the counter and see a cockroach crawling down the wall near the register. Imagine how sick to my stomach I felt.

Ate lunch here today with 9 of us. Quality of food was really good and there was plenty of it. Service was a little interesting, but overall you go to a bbq for the food and that was excellent.

Great sliced brisket sandwich at a ridiculously low price. Friendly service people. Open on Mondays, unlike most places in this area. Wife loved the chopped brisket sandwich Parking: When they're busy, parking can be tough, but it's worth a bit of a hassle because the food is really good and very reasonably priced.

Is this our #1 BBQ joint? No, but that doesn't matter, it's good bbq. It's local ( Dripping Springs), it's convenient for us (closer to Austin) and the price is good for lunch. My wife and I have eaten here several times for our lunch dates and we have brought out of town guests here for lunch as well. Staff has always been friendly and the bbq and sides good. Wheelchair accessibility: Very low rise wood ramp into the restaurant, and interior is very open.

Llegamos,no tuvimos que esperar,nos atendieron muy amable la señorita,hablaba español! Me explico las diferentes opciones que podía ordenar mi sandwich,me decidí por el de brisket deshebrado,con sus jalapeños,cebollas y pepinos en vinagre en rodajas,y no podía faltar su salcita exquisita que le da un buen sabor a la carne! El sándwich estaba muy bien servido y ordene también unas papas de sweetpotato! Riquísimas! Recomendado,para los amantes del brisket este es una muy buena opción! Ya no tuve tiempo de tomarle foto

Good mesquite smoked BBQ joint. The brisket was moist and well cooked, the sausage was very good, and the sides were nice. In a state crowded with world class BBQ, Railroad can certainly hold its head high. Best in Dripping Springs by far.
