Radisson Hotel La Crosse

My wife booked a room 3 months in advance for a conference only to arrive and be told they gave her room to someone else. So after driving for 6hrs to get there, she's told they overbooked (wich would indicate a problem with elementary math). So she has to go to a different hotel and come back in the morning for the conference. She later gets a call from the first hotel stating they had a water leak. So now we're up to two completely different explanations and lack of communication because they never called my wife for a heads up. She attends these conferences all over the country, but might be the last time she attends one in La crosse.

In response to my husband’s review and Radisson’s reply. Yes, frustrated that when I checked in I was told they were overbooked and that I “arrived too late.” This was approximately 10 pm. I did not know about the plumbing issue till the next day. However Raddison paid for my first night at another hotel. Radisson also hosted a great conference. Unfortunately, I do not know anything about the room and what it had to offer, as I did not stay. Therefore, due to the response “you arrived too late” I gave a three as everything else was great.

The first room they gave me to stay in was not cleaned or picked up. Towels on the floor, red on the sheets, food crumbs. I have never had this happen in the numerous hotels I stay at throughout the month. It caused me to have a panic attack, and I immediately went to the front desk, I was then offered, by the front desk man, the same room but cleaned, and a drink ticket for me but not my guest who was staying with me. I was completely embarrassed as a guest to be treated this way. The location of the hotel is convenient for the lacrosse center and downtown lacrosse.

Everyone was polite and professional. Rooms for clean. Everything met expectations except the coffee in the room (I guess to be expected in a hotel room). Priced better than others in the area... We would definitely stay here again.

Went to the easter brunch Sunday at Radisson. The food was fantastic and lots of it ham ,turkey,beef ,salmon,shrimp, crab cakes, omelet bar,soup, salad, desert, everything was delicious highly recommended. Also started there lunch soup and salad bar seven days a week again . AWESOME.

Beware—my husband and I were in town to celebrate a special occasion with friends and I reserved a double room with a riverfront view ~1 month in advance. We ended up being placed in a King room overlooking the hotel pool with little to no natural light. On top of that, there was a loud whistling noise permeating through the central air system throughout the entire stay, and we could hardly sleep in with the sound of folks carrying on in the pool area all morning. ALL websites, including the UW system travel booking systems, should make it clear that some of the rooms in this hotel are connected to and/or overlooking the pool, and that you may or may not end up getting the room you thought you were getting at the time of booking. Staff were and continue to be totally unhelpful in resolving this. I even received a text message before checking out that asked that only positive feedback be shared online. Disappointing.
