Nice restaurant on the edge of china town. Fresh cooked tasty noodles at a very reasonable price. Looking around at fellow dinners the food looked good and well presented. Will definitely go back.
And then he tells all about this Chinese restaurant called the R&G Lounge...it's the best in the city, he says, and then goes on and on about the Siu Char chicken, it's this, it's that...on and on! He wouldn't shut up! So I slugged him, not hard but hard enough for him to shut the hell up. So, I told him...let's go Pilgrim, and if it's not like you claim it to be...you're paying! It was every bit of what he claimed, the chicken was Spectacular! The Peking Duck looked so good I got one to go, it'll be tomorrow's breakfast, and I can't wait. 5 stars all day long! ☆☆☆☆☆
Parking: There's a parking garage (best on in Chinatown and downtown) only a few steps away from the restaurant. The garage is on Kearny & Clay ( 733 Kearny St, SF CA 94108 ) and the rates aren't too bad. COST: Free 15 mins, 1hr - $4, and add $4/hr for any additional hours. $40ish for a day rate that kicks in after 12 hrs.
Above average mid high end Cantonese spot. Efficient service and menu. Almost everything is good.
Amazing food and service; no complaints. The fried rice is one of the best fried rice dishes I've ever had. The special beef had a lot of flavor and a mouth-watering smell and color. I'd highly recommend it to anyone!
The food was what one would expect from a good Chinese restaurant, authentic. The lobster noodles was bland though. Service was bad. One member of my party spilled tea on the table and floor. The waiter saw it but did nothing to help clean up. Perhaps because the 20% tips were already included in the bill and so there was no incentive for the service staff to provide normal service like cleaning up a spill? Atmosphere was noisy, as with most Chinese restaurant.
