No frills Vietnamese dining at a great price. As a reviewer, you want to write something useful from a perspective that serves your audience. Personally, I want to tell you who would really enjoy this place, even when I don't. Ok. This place has challenged me. First, Vietnamese restaurants remind me of the Waffle House. The have a few things that are combined in as many ways as possible. In this case, there is a base of soup, noodles and rice. It is the base for one or more toppings. Here, it is things like pork, shrimp, beef, egg, etc. A friend recommended this place to me. He thought it was cool that the name sounded like "walk-on." He also knows that I like Vietnamese food. So, here is some creative writing about this place: The dining room defies description. It is ironically plain with nothing particularly fancy or awful about it. The service is sure and steady. The mature woman gave me the same smile that she gave all the other patrons and, seemingly, most patrons over the past decades. I sincerely admired her pleasing attitude. The food was neither quick nor slow in its arrival. Having forgotten my cell phone, time both stood still and crawled by as I focused on the pale pinkish-taupe walls. The floor was both clean and, yet, it had a dinge that reflected years of serving hungry patrons. The food was also unremarkable. The noodles has an absence of flavor and color. I brought back my childhood as underneath the noodles were some basil. lettuce and sprouts that reminded me of the rewarding toys at the bottom of cereal boxes. The shrimp and pork had an pinkish art-deco sheen that complemented the walls. This locus of subtle protein flavors shadowed the ghostly noodles below. At the last minute, I ordered and appetizer of rice-papered spring rolls with shrimp and basil. I gently bathed them in the fish sauce, vainly searching for an unexpected kick of flavor. At last, I headed to the register where the woman, who had been on her speaker phone for most of my meal, shuffled papers until she mumbled a price. It was an inexpensive ending to this venture. Clearly, this proprietor has decided that a solid meal at a good price is what people want. Other displays of individuality and style might cause the easily offended to walk-on. Btw, there are some peanuts on the top of the noodles. Dietary restrictions: It is easy for gluten-free and dairy free people to find meals. There is a dash of peanuts on the dry noodles.

Amazing tofu and egg banh mi!

Love the food, really fast, good price the pho is $9 and sandwich/bahn mi $4. If you want to eat and relax this is not the place. But the food is really good and the price really affordable. It's a small place and always crowded( we come Sunday, maybe that's why it's busy) not sure about the weekdays. Parking: It's a shopping center that has a lot of other stores .

Ordered mixed clear noodles (hu tiu thap cam) and got a food poison. Coming to think of it, the meat didn’t seem to be fresh and thoroughly cooked. But my bf got the seafood one; his brother got banh mi and they both seemed ok.
