- Eggplant in garlic sauce - good, but a bit too sweet for me - Mongolian chicken - not a fan, chicken was not flavorful, and the dish had too many onions - Taiwan sausage fried rice - sausage, egg, and diced string beans - simple and good but on the oily side oily
Large portions with great price. Recommended: rice noodles Not recommended: prawns, oyster pancakes
The service was very ordinary. Didn't check back if we needed anything. No smile and it felt like we weren't welcome. The food was fine. They have a menu selection with three dishes for a fixed price. Quite oily though some dishes were tasty like the garlic eggplant.
Definitely worth a try due to solid food at solid prices. Price points are competitive for the Bay Area and the food itself may even be able to compete with NYC Chinese food, so it’s worth stopping by for a straight and to the point meal at a no frills restaurant.
Food is tasty but glass inside. I paid my meal and tips but I don’t wanna happen again. It is horrible experience.
Ordered to go- place was packed. Shame on me for not going with the Taiwanese dishes, but I ordered American Chinese: wonton soup & kung pao chicken. Perhaps the worst meal I’ve had in a while- beyond poor quality of meats with rubberry beef and pieces of chicken bone. And overall poor flavors. It seems to be cooked by someone who didn’t care. I’ve had some of the best Chinese in ‘hole in the wall’ joints, but this was not one of them. I hope it was just a bad night.
