From the beginning received a warm greeting. Asked the bartender to surprise me and he made the perfect Carribean theme cocktail. Tomahawk did not disappoint. Service was top notch and everywhere helping.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Quality Meats, and let me just say, the food is absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The casual ambiance of the restaurant made me feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the food. Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? Every dish that I tried was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The quality of the meats was evident in every bite, and it was clear that the chefs at Quality Meats take great pride in their craft.
Where do I begin? Entering the heavy glass doors, all I could think was, "Wow, quality doors". Anyway, the ambience is impeccable. It really gave you the utmost, upscale experience with tasteful decor including woods and metals. My reservation was originally for 4, but we ended up with 5, and the hostess had no issue seating us all. We were taken towards the back of the restaurant, seated at a round table and away from the noise. It was a little wobbly, but it was forgiven. Their service was absolutely magical. We had help figuring out what wine paired well with our steaks, and they had no issues with allowing us a taste. Enough of my nonsense, on to the food. The crab cake gave reason to my lack of 5 stars. It was dry, and flavorless. On to the steaks, the main reason we visited. We got the dry aged double tomohawk, and the "big boy" porterhouse. The tomohawk is definitely the star of the show. I'm personally not a medium person, but it was delicately cooked to perfection. The right amount of salts and the fatty bits were all so buttery. I dreamt of it later that night, salivating. The porterhouse followed in suite, just as juicy and just as savory. It was the perfect pair of meats. Along with these steaks, we also ordered the farm salad, gnocchi with cheese, and the crispy potatoes. Now, this salad was fresh, it had the right amount of dressing. The table could not stop commenting how great of a salad this was. The gnocchi and cheese was subpar, but half of my table was satisfied. The dark chocolate cake with the malt ice cream was absolutely to die for. But please next time, dear chef, lower the sugar content. I almost went into a sugar coma following these sweets. Our table also had a taste of the moist dark chocolate cake, it was the perfect balance between bitterness and sweetness. All in all, quite the experience. P.S. I've been here 6 times. It is worth it.
Wonderful atmosphere, had the dry aged strip loin. It was delicious. Would come back again.
An amazing meal. Appetizers, steaks, sides, desserts and wine were all fantastic. You cannot go wrong no matter what you order. Highlights besides the meat are the bacon with peanut butter and peppered diced apples appetizer and the corn crème brûlée side. Could eat just that for days!!!
One of my favorite steak house. Great apps, sides and desserts. Def worth a stop.
Definitely a spot you go to for an anniversary or even if you just wanted to treat yourself
For years this has been our go-to place for steak. We took our family, friends or just each other there for tasty comfort food. Each time we ordered tomahawk steak, the waiter would remind us it took 45 min. Now, it doesn’t take any time at all. No need to wait. The steak has been pre-cooked, maybe even in sous-vide? Absolutely spiritless and actually a little foul smelling! One block west you can buy dry aged steak from Whole Foods, and it’s much better no matter how you like it. What’s the point of paying $500 for a meal in an establishment that cuts corners to gain efficiency?!
