We stopped late on a Sunday evening on our way home. The menu and reviews looked good, so we thought we'd try it. We were not disappointed. The food and service were great. We were greeted by one of the owners who took the time to make us feel truly welcomed. The menu has a nice variety of Greek, Middle Eastern, and American items. There is something for everyone. The food was fresh and delicious. Overall, a good value. My only regret is that Pylos is not closer to home.
Detroit Greek style lives in Palm city
Met with part owner, Brandon, who was very nice young man who will do what it takes to make things good. Our waitress Jaylee was very sweet and knew her job well. Food was excellent and very nice atmosphere. I would say well worth trying it out. I was told Wednesday night is ladies night so plenty of drink specials
Such amazing food here n I been to Greece myself. I'm happy to know I have a new place to goto for delicious authentic food locally. Highly recommended!!!
The octopus is delicious. The food was great.
We usually go to Olympic Taverna a mile away, but it was crowded as usual for Sunday brunch and we’ve been meaning to try the “other” Greek places. Now we know why Olympic Taverna has a wait and this place has none. The Greek salad at Pylos was 95% lettuce and limited “fixings”. At Olympic I get almost all olives, onions, Pepperoncinis, etc - for the same price. My wife got a gyro platter which the waitress told her comes with a side. She showed the list of sides. When we got the check there was an up charge for the side. I asked why she told us it came with a side if you had to pay extra for it. She said the potatoes were more than the other 4 options (rice or French fries, apparently potatoes are a more expensive starch). Not a big deal, but why wouldn’t they disclose that some sides are not “included”. All told, the food was okay, but Olympic Taverna’s food (and their much more expansive menu) blows Pylos out of the water. You get more for your money at Olympic. And, no hidden upcharges at Olympic, not to mention our kids drink refills are free at Olympic, not so much at Pylos. I still give 3 stars bc the food and atmosphere wasn’t horrible, just not the same quality of food and same quality of service as the other Greek place in town.
Gyro was great, But Wheres the Shwarma?
Great Mediterranean food. Service was on point. Unfortunately, dessert could have been better. Overall, I went for the food and it was great! The outdoor seating was spacious. I will be back.
