Puesto La Jolla

The best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. The guacamole was so fresh, the herb lime rice could be eaten on its own because it had such great flavor, and we loved the tacos - the filling covered in a crispy cheese was amazing. We also tried the coconut margarita and the pineapple pickle back shooters - both were so yummy! My husband and I can’t wait to visit here again the next time we are in La Jolla.

Betsy was great

Betsy was our server - she was amazing! She went out of her way for us multiple times, to make our experience smooth! Vegetarian options: The mushroom taco is amazing!

The staff at our hotel recommended Puesto and we are so glad that they did! The server, Sarah, was super ( and attentive to allergies, which we appreciate) and the food and drinks were super. Great experience. We would come back, for sure, and highly recommend Puesto!

Prices are insane, but Betsy was really sweet. The water (or the cups) smell baaaaàd like fishy soap
