El Hotel acaba de reabrir con su nuevo equipo. Es un hotel estupendo con un trato magnífico. Moderno y limpio y bien conservado. Una buena opción para el camino de Santiago.

Als wir im Hotel ankamen hatten wir keine Buchung aber die Resepzionistin war trotzdem sehr freundlich und bemüht und ein Zimmer zur Verfügung zu stellen. Leider mussten wir dann im Ungewissen eine Stunde warten bis wir das O.K. bekamen. Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer war dann jedoch sauber und schön. Es fehlte aber wirklich warmes Wasser. Am Abend in der Bar tranken wir noch einen Schlummertrunk - die zweite Runde wurde uns jedoch unfreundlich verwehrt, da die Bar um 21:30 Uhr geschlossen wurde - obwohl noch Gäste im Restaurant sassen. Das Frühstückbuffet fiel sehr spärlich aus. Um 8:30 Uhr war schon fast alles weg. Was noch da war - war kalt. Das allgemeine Ambiente im Hotel fühlte sich komisch an. Es ist ein riesen grosser Komplex, der teilweise wie geschlossen und nicht in Betrieb wirkt. Man kann es nicht beschreiben. Die Angestellten wirken teils als hätten sie keine Ahnung wie man ein Hotel führt. Für eine Notfall-Nacht okey. Spezielle Erfahrung.

In the process of reopening after 5 years closure we stayed in the first week. Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a fairly large place but very few of us there as most Pilgrim Apps say place is still shut and I guess it’s not on people’s radar yet. Bedroom is standard hotel style with comfortable beds, large bathroom and a couple of chairs. I ate in the dinning room with a few others and food was your normal Pilgrims menu which worked just fine. Same with breakfast.
