Hard hard tuff ribs and brisket, not edible. Then literally served us raw fried chicken thigh, call the manager over to the table, he said he was gonna take care of us… looked at the check he gave us a 5.00 discount! Be warned! This happened today Sunday 3/24/2024 with mgr on duty. Discussed ruin our reunion with old friends. We won’t be back!

If you're looking for better go somewhere else. Was not what it was cut out to be.

I literally only ordered a peach cobbler and it was burned and tasted like dog food. It wasn’t sweet at all, it was messy, and very hard. It tasted almost like play dough. It looked as if a child made it. Also as an African American woman, I did not feel very comfortable there.

Hannah and Chrissy were our servers and they both did a great job. Everything was on point. Great value for any meal. Parking: Parking is free and never a problem Kid-friendliness: The restaurant does a good job with entertaining all children

Visiting the Nashville area and we met up with a friend down here to try out Puckett's. we ordered the fried green beans, smoked meat platter, and a nashville hot chicken sandwich with mac n cheese. Everything was reasonably priced which was good. The fried green beans were tasty and crunchy and they gave you quite a bit. The Nashville hot chicken wasn't very spicy at all and they didn't have any heat levels to choose from. The mac n cheese was pretty awesome though. As for the meat platter, it was decent, the brisket was kinda dry and needed their bbq sauce. I tried both the sweet and the spicy separately and ended up mixing them for a tasty sauce. The pulled pork was very tender and juicy. The sausage was really good, it had a nice crunchy skin on it. The collard greens, though I'm not an expert by any means, were kinda bland compared to others I've had. The green beans were your normal ones you get at most places with bacon in it which was pretty good. The service was pretty good, the girl brought me sweet tea with no lemon instead of unsweetened with lemon. Once she corrected that, she was pretty good on refills and what not. Overall it was pretty good, award winning? Maybe for a competition, but not what I ate. I would definitely come back to try some other items. The atmosphere of the place was very comforting and relaxing, they have a bunch of old signs and shelves with food products, making it feel homey. Thanks guys! Maybe i will see ya again in the future!

Food was good. Entertainment was great on Friday night from 7-9. Callie, our waitress, was great for all the tables she had to cover. She made our 2 hours there welcoming. We will come back again!

My wife and I went 3/10 for lunch trying someplace new. The food was horrible, the wife had the Salmon w/ broccoli it came out mediocre warm and did not taste that good apparently been sitting waiting for my food? place wasn’t that busy and had numerous open seating. I had the BBQ platter thinking I would be able to carry the un-eaten food home for later not to finish cooking. The ribs and brisket were tough and just plain awful , the Pulled pork was saturated in grease . However, I was able to eat the sausage and portion of the chicken. The Mac and cheese was a disappointment for paying extra. The waiter never once came by to ask how everything was. We left the place with about as much food the plate that came out (hint hint) for all you waters and waitresses that something might be wrong with the meal. We did tip the kid because he did keep water flowing and we try to give people the benefit of the doubt this is probably the worst 100.00 I’ve spent on a meal that won’t happen again at this place.

I just arrived for the first time in Murfreesboro and am staying at the Red Carriage Inn! Upon a strong recommendation to have dinner at Pucketts I found myself here! The brisket and pulled pork were amazing and the original BBQ sauce made everything sing! But the BEST part was dining at the bar and enjoying Ronnie’s company. This hardworking bartender / waiter might be the MOST talented multitasking person I’ve ever met. Thank you Ronnie for engaging conversation and for making me feel welcome. TN is a long way from my Nevada home but I feel like I belong here too. Wow - the world needs more Ronnies. Good lunch in grad school!
