It was Sunday early evening, I'm not familiar with this new store. They were out of the whole family size cooked chickens. They had nothing healthy, everything was breaded. They had one leg/thigh left, so I bought, but is wasn't fully cooked when I got home. Tossed it out. I learned that the Publix Stores east of I-95 stock differently than "West". Not a happy camper
I moved to Highland Beach two years ago from Miami. I'm a loyal Publix Shopper (no, it is NOT more expensive than other supermarkets, that is perception. You think it's more because the stores are clean and they carry out your groceries), the stores near my home fell a bit short of my expectations. The stores in Miami are 99% remodeled or rebuilt and much larger. Then I found the store at the Polo Club Shops! I felt at home, it's so clean, well stocked, large, fantastic employees and the greatest Pharmacy EVER! This is now MY Publix. It may seem trite to some however where you shop and spend your money is something I think is important. At closing you are not even aware its that time. No one is making annoying announcements every two minutes, for employees to bring their purchases to the front. Do other Publix Markets think their customers are stupid? We know what that awful announcement really means, stp it! We have choices of where we want to shop and its not at a store that values locking the door exactly at closing so you can go home. Mr. Jenkins would be so disappointed to hear some of the screeching things I've heard at different Publix’s. These stores should simply close earlier, because they are not open for business one hour prior to closing, they are closed! At the Polo Club Shops, you will NEVER hear these terrible announcements, no, you will hear great music. You'll see Robert in Produce smiling as he fills those &@$^ bananas, and Josh at the Deli greeting each and every customer with his kind and sincere ways, all of the other associates smiling asking if you need help rather than avoiding eye contact at all cost! The associates here make eye contact (none have passed away because they did), they are “old school” employees. A Joy to shop with. I am posting this now, but will edit it in a few
Only standard products at this store.
Tried 3x to get food at the hot bar walked out 3x ad there was no food just scraps and no help around. It'd disorganized your best to order a sub
Not much selection of products,
Very nice Publix! It's not my usual but very well stocked so it took me a little bit longer to find what I was looking for. It's a really clean store. There's a very nice place like a loft with seating should you want to eat there as they have an extensive island with hot food and salad bar.
