The avocado and asparagus salad was amazing. So much flavour. The Chef is a genius!

I walked in at 920 am. They stayed linch started at 930 am. I asking for a cup of Coffee with cream and sugar. I stated i would wait for Lunch. Server gave me my Coffee with cream no sugar. Never came back. 10 am comes around, still never came back. Thank God I wasn't hungry!

I was in the Chicago airport alll day long and needed a place to camp out I picked a charging / work station counter near the hostess station, as this gave me some space ~away~ from the crowds , yet close ~enough ~ to the crowds when I felt like people watching I really enjoyed my fish sandwich and exceptional potato chips .. and a good red wine served with a carafe that made it feel more ~ savory ~ all the moving parts of the experience are important and I think that if the hostess,, ( plural?) had been more welcoming and friendly , I would have rated everything a 5 . I’ll definitely go back tho .. It was overall a good experience.. ( and the name “ The Publican” is a great topic for conversation..

The service was pretty decent, the chicken wings were awesome. I would come back for the wings. The burger was very average, the bun on it was not that high of quality. Add fries for $2 more? Well, the fries are frozen out of a bag and then deep fried. How about hand cut fries for that upcharge? Was the burger with added fries and bacon and avocado worth $26? Definitely not.

Good fish burger and thick crunch chips. Price was around $20.

Decent food overall...service not the best...
