My recent visit to Public Records, a nightclub where patrons expect a certain level of professionalism and courtesy, was utterly disappointing due to the appalling behavior of one particular bartender. On the evening of Wed 31st of January, I encountered a bearded male bartender whose conduct left much to be desired. After purchasing two cocktails, each priced at a hefty $17, I made the decision not to leave a tip. Instead of handling the situation with grace and understanding, this bartender proceeded to berate me in front of my date, loudly declaring that I was "too cheap" and threatening to refuse service for any future cocktails. Being publicly humiliated in such a manner was not only embarrassing but completely uncalled for. It is deeply concerning that a staff member at Public Records would resort to such unprofessional behavior, especially towards paying customers. No one should be made to feel ashamed for making financial decisions within their means. This bartender's outburst not only soured my evening but also cast a shadow over the reputation of Public Records as a whole. It is my sincere hope that management takes swift action to address this issue and ensure that other patrons are not subjected to similar treatment in the future. In conclusion, I urge potential patrons to think twice before patronizing Public Records if this is the type of treatment they can expect from its staff members. Anyhow, the club is full of hedgefund analysts and consultants with erectile dysfunction those days. Sad to see a good place become a heap of garbage.

Decent music you’d expect in a club, but the bouncers are rude and it’s badly organized. Everyone trying to leave is standing in a long outdoor line for coat check to pick up their coats. Literally 40 people in line are going to catch a cold while we wait outside with the people coming in. I’ll consider revisiting in the summer…

Awesome bar/restaurant and there is a sound room that you can buy tickets to go into. Plenty of cocktails to pick from as well as a big wine list and spirit list.

The people who worked here the night of Blacktronika were extremely rude, specially the coat check/ticket check at the front. Probably never coming back.
